My first big fat Indian Wedding

So our main reason for visiting India was to attend my friends wedding.  However ,the bride and groom were not only our friends but also A's sister!  I have always been fascinated by Indian clothes since I was a young girl for their colours, fabric and embroidery.  I have wore a Saree before but never in 35C heat.  The decision about what to wear to a wedding is always a difficult one, yet add to it that you need an outfit for each of the 4 events AND I was the girlfriend of the brother of the bride (that's a mouthful) you can say I felt the pressure.  So you may well be asking, how did I decide?  Well, the journey started on a day trip to Southall in West London with our friends.  The boys managed to pick up a few outfits and A found one jacket that he fell in love with for the Sangeet but I just couldn't see anything that floated my boat.  For the price that they wanted to charge (most were 100-300 GBP) they seemed a little plain for what I had in mind.  Months went by an
